Centre for Transformative Change in Schools (CenTCS)

We are happy to announce two CenTCS School of Education Colloquia for 2026-27. 

Each colloquium day will be open to all School of Education colleagues and will include opportunities to engage with national and international guests as well as CenTCS Fellows and Associates. The purpose of these colloquia is to deepen and broaden academic dialogue around the mission, vision, and work of CenTCS, and to develop collaboration across the School.

30 October, 2026

The theme for this colloquium day will be Transformative Educational Change and activities will be based on the CenTCS 2025-26 output entitled Transformative Educational Change: A CenTCS Lexicon.

19 March, 2027

The theme for this colloquium day will be Connections and Disconnections Between Young People, Schools, and Communities and activities will be based on the CenTCS 2025-26 output entitled (Dis)Connections in Schooling: A Concept Paper
