Lindsay Middleton
Lindsay is a Research Professional and Literary Food Historian of the long-nineteenth century. Her research focuses on the literary qualities of recipes and cookbooks and representations of culinary technologies, with a current specialism on the traditions and stories that underpin historical Scottish food writing. As a Research Professional, Lindsay is passionate about realising real-world impact from academic research across multiple sectors.
SCAF has provided an invaluable platform for connecting with researchers and stakeholders interested in food from across Scotland. With a research background in the arts & humanities, it has been useful for me to meet others across disciplines, to collaborate and establish how our work can be mobilised together to better tackle problems around food.
